2019 IN REVIEW

2019 was a rollercoaster of a year!! I am still tabulating, but I believe I did somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 comedy sets last year. I got to do my first ever Dork Forest episode with national touring headliner Jackie Kashian (to give it a listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sdBpTcunZk), I played Dynasty Typewriter in September for the first time with some comedy heavyweights (Laurie Kilmartin, Jackie Kashian, Janelle James, Kira Soltanovich, Virginia Jones and.....wait for it.....Zach Galifianakis!), I got to do the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston again....AND my mom took the trip with me. And Brian Kiley, who I think is hilarious, said I'm funny, which is lovely to hear. I almost forgot!! I started headlining in 2019, which in LA means 15-25 minute sets if you are not doing a club, but we all have to start somewhere. Shout out to Jen O'Donnell who gave me my first headlining set with her Ladies Room Comedy Show at Westside Comedy on July 20th and all I had to do was ask. I also did my first short film this year and it was such a great experience; I hope to do more.
